What do you do in the EED and how long have you been here?

I am one of the office assistants and work at the front desk in the Engineering Education Department. I’m now on my 3rd semester of working here.

What subdiscipline of engineering are you interested in?

My major is biological engineering with a focus in biomaterials.

What drew you to major in engineering?

In high school I had the best biology teacher ever and he really made every single topic fun and interesting. I also had an interest in engineering and went to Eastland Career Center for pre-engineering.

What do you want to do after you graduate?

After I graduate I hope to get a job in the Greater Columbus area but my dream job would be research orientated at Ohio State.

What's your favorite thing about working in the EED?

My favorite thing about working in the EED is being able to assist and interact with professors and students, whether that be analyzing data from Qualtrics surveys or printing off copies of quizzes. I like to think to myself that my working for the department really makes the professors and whole departments jobs a little easier, even if I’m just doing small tasks.

What's a fun fact about yourself?

A fun fact about myself is that I’m about twice the age of my sister and four times the age of my little brother.
